I am in my studio for the last sessions before moving. I am firing a wood kiln in June 09 and will fire my kiln once more before I leave. It is a freedom I haven't had in a long time. I start the days getting ready to throw and the pace has slowed. There is no rush and the pots are focused and wonderful. These may be some of the best pots I've made. Without the pressures of sales I am just making what friends will enjoy. I wish I always made pots with this spirit, untainted by finical pressures and full of life.
